Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Claims Coordinator within the Mill Division, at one of our mill sites (West Point, Covington, Evadale, Mahrt) or at the Atlanta/Richmond home offices. You will manage all claim activities from initiation to resolution, coordinate with sales, mills, service, and accounting, and ensure timely communication and SOX compliance.

• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Experience in the paper industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process customer complaints from initiation to resolution.
• Collaborate with sales, mills, service, logistics and accounting.
• Assess complaints for validity and credit due; manage returns.
• Manage product returns and third-party claims recovery.
• Create reports and communicate findings to customers and teams.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley standards.
