Accurate Personnel is seeking a Transportation and Logistics Claims Lead responsible for overseeing claims management, shipment rejections, cold chain temperature compliance, and related technology enhancements. The role focuses on protecting product integrity, regulatory compliance, and service performance.

You will organize investigations, supervise teams across locations, travel as needed, and use data analysis to drive improvements.

Job description

Responsible for overseeing claims management, shipment rejections, cold chain temperature compliance, equipment programs, and technology enhancements within a transportation and logistics environment. Ensures product integrity, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across transportation and cold chain operations. Leads initiatives to reduce losses, improve service performance, optimize equipment utilization, and implement technology solutions that enhance visibility, quality, and supply chain performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Organize, manage, and present complex claims investigations involving product damage or shipment rejections. Delegate work and assignments to team members across multiple locations to support rejection investigations and cold chain compliance efforts. Travel as needed to support local teams based on data analysis and process performance trends. Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the claims and rejection process while presenting solutions based on investigative findings.

Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and transportation regulations. Manage claims, investigations, and loss recovery processes while implementing corrective actions to reduce recurring issues identified through trend analysis. Lead technology enhancement projects, including logistics systems, tracking tools, and process automation initiatives. Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify trends and drive continuous improvement efforts. Present data analysis and operational trends to internal stakeholders, customers, and transportation partners to support service excellence. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Required Skills:

2–3 years of temperature-controlled supply chain, cold chain, transportation, logistics, or related experience preferred. Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated leadership, management, and supervisory experience. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and effectively delegate tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of an organization. Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce. Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

Physical Demands:
