Job summary

Kubota Tractor seeks a Claims Analyst II to manage shortage, damage, and transportation claims from initiation to resolution. You will coordinate with carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams to ensure timely settlements and adherence to company policies.

The role requires strong analytical and written communication skills, experience with ERP systems, and a focus on process improvements across locations. On-site work in Texas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of five years of experience in the claims management industry required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Transportation with a minimum of three years of experience in the claims management industry preferred.
• Claims management training, insurance recovery or settlement practices required.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, or equivalent ERP system.
• Strong Logistics & transportation knowledge.
• Customer Service experience.
• Experience working with 3PL, carriers and service providers.
• Ability to interact with all company departments.
• Uses effective oral and written communication skills; delivers information clearly and concisely and listens effectively.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages shortage, damage, and transportation claims from initiation through resolution.
• Manages vendor charge-back claim reviews and recovery efforts.
• Conducts cross-functional investigations to validate reimbursement claims and assess liability exposure.
• Maintains complete claim documentation and ensures prompt processing of records and settlements.
• Analyze transportation claim data and KPI trends to identify recurring issues and improvements.
• Collaborate with distribution centers or 3PLs to close gaps in freight loading/securement practices.
• Provide guidance, training, and operational support to the department.

Job description

JOB OVERVIEW

The Claims AnalystIIisresponsible foremanging shortage,damageand transportation claims,coordinatinginsurance and other settlements including vendor recovery. This position will alsoassistin continuous improvement of efficiency for claims related activities, while supporting the alignment of processes and practices across all locations whileassistingthe manager with department projects and initiatives as requiredand assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

• Independently manages shortage, damage, and transportation claims from initiation through resolution, ensuring timelydealer credit issuance, claim settlements, and adherence to KTC guidelines and procedures.
• Managesvendor charge-back claim reviews and recovery efforts, investigating claim validity and maximizing settlement outcomes with vendors and third-party providers.
• Conducts complex cross-functional investigations involving Accounting, Finance, Legal, Warranty, and other business partners tovalidatereimbursement claims, assess liability exposure, ensure due diligence, maintainaccuraterecords in support of organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Managescarrier claims across multiple transportation modes, (TL, LTL, Parcel, Ocean, Air)
• coordinating directly with carriers to resolve disputes and protect companyfinancial interests.
• Maintainscomplete claim documentation andensuresprompt processing of supporting records, investigative findings, and settlement requests.
• Analyze transportation claim data and 3PL performance trends toidentifyrecurring issues, improve reporting visibility, and support operational improvements whilemaintainingmonthly KPI performance charts or graphs toidentifyimprovement areas and best practices.
• Supports inventory recall and rework projects, conducting investigations and coordinating corrective actions to minimize operational disruptions.
• Work directly with KTC distribution centers or 3PLs to quickly close gaps in performance related to freight loading / securement practices. Collaborate on continuous process improvements.
• Served as a departmental resource by providing guidance, training, and operational support, whilemaintainingreadiness to assume higher-level responsibilities as needed.
• Supports special projects, operational initiatives, and cross-functional efforts whilemaintainingownership of claims management, reporting, and process improvement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Transportationwith a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the claims management industry preferred.

• Strong Logistics & transportation knowledge

• Claims Management knowledge, preferably within the Heavy Industry segment

• Customer Service experience
