Job summary

PITT OHIO is seeking a Claims Coordinator-Operations for the Grove City, OH location. The role starts at 8 AM, Monday–Friday, focusing on handling claims issues, driver and customer communications, and thorough documentation.

As part of a team that values safety and integrity, you will review weekly claims, audit movement documents and coordinate with the Terminal Manager to resolve OS&D findings. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers on issues including shortages, damages, driver calls, proofs of delivery, rates and claims.
• Perform daily dock checks and itemize shipments needing movement or investigation.
• Attend weekly shift meetings and report OS&D issues to the Terminal Manager.
• Review the weekly Claims Report and rebut claims that should not be paid.
• Maintain daily communication with Terminal Manager and supervisors on quality issues and high value exceptions.
• Audit bills of lading, delivery receipts and movement documents for errors and share findings.
