Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking a Claim Associate to join our growing team. The role supports the Claim Department with administrative, technical and coordination tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.

You will manage claim inquiries, monitor mailboxes, enter data, prepare correspondence, and assist with reports and audits, collaborating with internal teams, brokers, and insureds. Candidates should have 3–6 years claims experience and strong communication.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 3–6 years of progressive experience in claims administration/support or insurance operations.
• Strong working knowledge of insurance claim workflows and terminology.
• Demonstrated experience working with claim management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary point of contact for administrative and operational claim inquiries, resolving issues independently when appropriate.
• Monitor claim mailboxes, prioritizing, handling, and distributing mail as appropriate.
• Enter, review, and maintain data within the claim management system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal standards and service level expectations.
• Prepare, review, and distribute written acknowledgements and routine claim correspondence to insureds, brokers, captive managers, TPAs, and fronting carriers.
• Assist with the development, preparation, review, and quality control of internal and external reports, loss runs, and management summaries.
• Monitor and manage communications and documentation from fronting carriers, ensuring proper routing, issue identification, and follow-up.
• Perform document handling tasks including redaction, quality review, document indexing, DocuSign workflow creation, and secure distribution.
