Job summary

Travelers is offering a Claim Intern program to help you gain hands-on experience with personal and business insurance claims while learning to estimate losses and determine coverages. You will work under a mentor and participate in structured onboarding to Travelers systems.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA and have basic Microsoft Office knowledge. Housing assistance is not provided as part of this internship.

Qualifications

• GPA with 3.0 or above preferred.
• Pursuing or have a Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Structured onboarding to Travelers systems and protocols.
• Exposure to Personal and Business Insurance claims of basic to moderate complexity.
• Learn strategies for investigating, negotiating and resolving claims thoroughly and accurately.
• Develop knowledge of damage estimation, coverage applicability and helping customers through the process.
