Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
• Majors such as Business Administration, Liberal Arts with business focus, Business Management, Risk Management and Insurance or related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Structured onboarding to Travelers systems and protocols.
• Exposure to personal and business insurance claims of basic to moderate complexity.
• Learn and understand strategies for investigating, negotiating and resolving claims.
• Develop knowledge of what happened, estimating damage and determining applicable coverages.
• Observe the work of the Claim Professional with mentors.
• Work with a manager/mentor to develop claims knowledge.
• Build strong customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Complete challenging and meaningful project work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
