Qualifications

• Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Suggested college majors include Business Administration, Liberal Arts (business focus), Business Management, Risk Management and Insurance, or related fields.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Structured onboarding to Travelers systems and protocols.
• Exposure to Personal and Business Insurance claims of basic to moderate complexity.
• Learn and understand effective strategies for investigating, negotiating and resolving claims.
• Develop knowledge of estimating damage and determining applicable coverages.
• Observe the work of the Claim Professional through ride-alongs with experienced staff.
• Work with a mentor to develop knowledge of claims through core assignments.
• Develop customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Complete challenging project work.
