Qualifications

• Minimum Associate Degree in Business or related healthcare field.
• At least 2 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced professional office environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and commitment to providing excellent internal and external customer service.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication, including professional correspondence via phone, typed documents, and email.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a desire to exceed service expectations.
• Strong time management and ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for new workers’ compensation claims, conducting intake interviews and logging data.
• Perform initial claim triage and assessment prior to assignment to an Adjuster.
• Coordinate logistics for injured drivers, including light duty or home-based care arrangements.
• Manage file setup and preparation for the Adjuster's takeover.
• Report out-of-state claims to the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) with documentation and follow-up.
• Provide reliable phone support and backup for the Risk intake department.
• Process claim-related correspondence, medical bill payments, and police reports as needed.
• Prepare files for litigation and closure, and assist with special projects as assigned.
• Maintain strict compliance with company policies and privacy requirements.
