Job summary

American Addiction Centers in Brentwood, TN is seeking an Insurance Operations Specialist to coordinate AAC’s insurance and claims processes across professional liability, general liability, workers’ compensation, and related matters.

You will manage claim intake, tracking, documentation, and communications with carriers, TPAs, and outside counsel, ensuring timely reporting, accurate records, and escalation when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in claims administration or related function.
• Experience communicating with insurance carriers, TPAs, brokers, and outside counsel preferred.
• Healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-state claims experience is a plus.
• Experience using a claims management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage notices of incidents, claims, demands, lawsuits, and other matters that may result in an insurance claim.
• Gather initial incident reports, supporting documentation, and other information to establish and maintain claim files.
• Enter new claims and maintain accurate claim information in tracking systems.
• Coordinate with carriers, TPAs, and brokers for timely reporting and escalation as needed.
• Maintain centralized tracking for open claims, deadlines, and key milestones.
• Track service of process, attorney correspondence, settlements, and other significant claim events.
