Job summary

American Addiction Centers seeks an Insurance Operations Specialist to support claims administration across professional and general liability, workers’ compensation, and related matters. You will coordinate with facilities, Legal, HR, carriers, and TPAs to ensure timely reporting and accurate claim records.

The role demands exceptional organization, confidentiality, and the ability to manage a high volume of matters with competing priorities while escalating significant issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in claims administration or related function.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, TPAs, brokers, adjusters, and outside counsel.
• Healthcare/behavioral health claims experience is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with tracking, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, triage, and open notices of incidents and claims.
• Coordinate medical records, documents, and information for claims.
• Enter and maintain claim data in tracking systems and RMIS.
• Follow up with carriers, TPAs, and counsel on deadlines and actions.
• Track claims milestones, reserves, settlements, and disposition.
• Support collaboration with Legal, HR, Finance, and facilities.
