Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Middle Tennessee is seeking an AR Specialist for our Central Business Office. You will apply analytical and customer service skills to ensure claims filed to insurance payers are processed accurately and timely.

Key tasks include identifying claim errors, following up on unpaid balances, resolving balances, and collaborating with payers, patients, and TOA staff to achieve timely resolutions while upholding HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years insurance collections experience.
• Experience using NextGen EPM system and payer portals.
• Orthopaedic specialty experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify errors or issues in claims processing and follow up on unpaid balances.
• Expedite balance resolution and meet QA/productivity standards.
• Analyze patient accounts and denial trends for potential solutions.
• Communicate with payers, patients, and TOA staff to resolve transactions.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance in daily activities.
