Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a Claims Specialist to manage diverse insurance claims, ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across all locations. You will coordinate with Safety, Risk, and Legal teams, review claim activity, and resolve medical care delays with carriers while maintaining high levels of customer service for employees.

Responsibilities include gathering evidence, generating reports on trends, and supporting return-to-work programs, with limited management

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in claims management.
• Experience coordinating directly with insurance carriers and adjusters.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or Insurance Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data and files third party property damage and bodily injury claims.
• Attends claims reviews, tracks action items, and provides follow-up reports.
• Works with risk, claims, and legal on litigated claims.
• Supports return-to-work and modified duty programs with light duty assignments.
• Maintains a temporary disability log.
• Coordinates medical care with insurance partners and escalates delays.
• Interacts with claimants to expeditious results.
• Maintains internal incidents logs and the incidents tracking system.
• Processes payments of claims with carriers and claimants.;
• Generates reports on claim activity, trends and patterns.
• Engages claimants, ACCO Employees, and management to investigate claims.
• Updates internal claims with carrier loss runs.
• Collects evidence such as witness statements, receipts, photographs to support claims.
• Serves as a resource for other departments on claims-related matters.
• Other tasks as assigned.
