Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Technical Data Analyst to join the US Claims Data Solutions Team, working in-office in Los Angeles, CA. The role leads data reporting, governance, and analytics across multiple systems to support claims operations.

You will gather and manipulate claims data, develop visualizations in Power BI, and partner with IT and business teams to deliver actionable insights and tell the story behind the numbers.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience focused on data and compliance in a claims environment.
• Experience with TPAs, MGAs, or external vendors is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree; two or more related designations or four additional years of data experience.
• Proficient in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and MS Office suite.
• Experience reading SQL; familiarity with MS SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake; Python a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather and manipulate claims data from multiple systems, analyze trends, and summarize findings.
• Support governance directives and assist with compliance-related projects.
• Manage the reporting calendar and mentor team members on data initiatives.
• Serve as main liaison for reporting requests and prioritize analysis needs.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data accuracy and integrity across platforms.
• Evaluate data quality and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
