Job summary

Argo Group, a specialty insurance underwriter, seeks a Technical Data Analyst to join the Claims Operations Compliance and Data team and work from an in-office location. The role serves as a technical lead for US Claims Data Solutions, building and distributing claims reports and visualizations.

This 100% in-office position requires strong data gathering, analysis, and governance experience, with the ability to work across multiple locations and vendor partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in data and compliance in a claims environment.
• Experience with TPAs/MGAs or external vendors preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; additional designations or related experience ok.
• Proficient in MS Office; Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Ability to read SQL code and work with MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake.
• Familiar with ISO/NCCI statistics; strong business acumen and communication.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze claims data from multiple systems to reveal insights.
• Lead reporting and governance projects for US Claims.
• Manage reporting calendar and mentor team.
• Serve as primary liaison for reporting requests with IT and business.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across platforms.
• Produce and distribute claims reports and visualizations.
