Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Technical Data Analyst to join the Claims Operations Compliance and Data team. This fully in-Office role will focus on building and distributing claims reports and visualizations, serving as a technical lead on the U.S. Claims Data Solutions Team.

The position requires on-site work across several offices including Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of data/compliance experience in a claims environment, strong Power BI and SQL skills, and a BA or higher with

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience focused on data and compliance in a claims environment.
• Bachelor’s degree; two or more related designations or four additional years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Experience with SQL code / MS SQL Server / Oracle / Snowflake; Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISO and NCCI or similar statistics preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with internal and external partners.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Gather and manipulate claims data from multiple operating systems, conduct analysis, identify trends, and summarize findings.
• Lead reporting and visualization efforts on the U.S. Claims Data Solutions Team.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data accuracy, collection, and integrity.
• Manage the Reporting Calendar and mentor staff on data and compliance initiatives.
• Serve as the key Claims business contact for reporting requests and prioritization.
