Job summary

Argo Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a technically skilled Technical Data Analyst to join the Claims Operations Compliance and Data team. This full‑time, in‑office role requires on‑site work during standard business hours.

You will lead reporting and visualization efforts, gather and analyze claims data across systems, and collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure data accuracy and governance. Candidates should have at least five years' data/compliance experience in claims, proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience focused on data and compliance in a claims environment, or equivalent experience with data gathering and analysis.
• Proficient in MS Suite of Products and other business‑related software, particularly Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Experience with data profiling software and ability to read, understand, and develop SQL code.

Responsibilities

• Gather and manipulate claims data from multiple systems, conduct analysis, identify trends, and summarize findings to tell the story behind the numbers.
• Support U.S. Claims compliance with governance directives and assist with projects as needed.
• Manage the Reporting Calendar to ensure equitable distribution of work within the data team.
• Mentor staff and ensure collaboration on data and compliance initiatives.
• Serve as the primary Claims reporting liaison for requests and prioritization of analysis and reports.
