Job summary

Argo Group is seeking a Technical Data Analyst to join the Claims Operations Compliance and Data team. The role leads reporting and visualization efforts across multiple systems and reports to a designated company office on-site.

This position requires strong data gathering and analysis skills, working with Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake. The candidate will collaborate with internal partners and external vendors while prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; or 2+ related designations or 4+ years in data/compliance.
• Proficient in MS Office / Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and related business software.
• Experience with SQL code, MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake.
• Familiar with data profiling software; able to read and develop SQL code.
• Understanding of claims compliance reporting and analysis; ISO/NCCI familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather and manipulate claims data from multiple systems; analyze and summarize findings to tell the story behind the numbers.
• Support US Claims compliance governance directives and assist with data projects as needed.
• Manage the Reporting Calendar to balance workload within the data team.
• Mentor staff and foster collaboration on data and compliance initiatives.
• Serve as main Claims business contact for reporting requests and prioritize analyses.
