Job summary

Selective Insurance, a mid-sized U.S. domestic property and casualty insurer, seeks a skilled claims analytics professional to build and maintain reporting dashboards and run analyses that inform Staff Counsel and executive leadership.

You will work with Power BI, Cognos, Excel, and other platforms to deliver monthly packages, support ad-hoc requests, and drive efficiencies across Claims. A bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of analytics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in analytics and reporting.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Cognos.
• Strong written communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain claims reporting dashboards and metrics.
• Create monthly reporting package with dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
• Support ad-hoc analysis for management platforms.
• Analyze audit data for law firm and vendor performance.
• Produce descriptive analytics with charts and executive summaries.
• Document data extraction and training materials.
