Job summary

Selective Insurance in the United States seeks a Claims Analytics professional to develop reports, metrics, and dashboards supporting Staff Counsel and the broader claims organization.

You will build and maintain a comprehensive reporting suite, deliver high-impact analytics projects, and partner with executive leadership to drive data-driven decisions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years of analytics experience.
• Experience with Power BI or Cognos for dashboard delivery.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project prioritization skills.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain claims reporting platforms and dashboards.
• Create monthly claims legal and operational reporting with dashboards and scorecards.
• Support ad-hoc analytical requests from management platforms.
• Analyze audit data related to law firm and vendor performance.
• Produce descriptive analytics and executive summaries for leadership.
