Inhabit is seeking a detail‑oriented Claims Coordinator to support end-to-end claims processing in Mason, OH. You’ll review inbound claims, communicate with claimants and carriers, gather documentation, and track progress to ensure timely resolution.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in customer service, sharp communication, and strong data entry skills. A willingness to obtain an adjuster license within 60 days is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role.
• Experience in claims processing, insurance operations, or customer support preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with data entry systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Problem solving mindset with the ability to identify and promote issues appropriately.
• Adjusters license preferred or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process inbound claims in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries from claimants, providing accurate information and guidance.
• Research claim details and gather supporting documentation to ensure complete and accurate processing.
• Track claim status and monitor workflow tasks to ensure timely progression.
• Identify discrepancies, irregularities, or potential issues and elevate as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of claim activity and communications.
• Coordinate with internal teams, insurance carriers, and third party partners to resolve claims efficiently.
• Support communication between stakeholders to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the claims process.
• Assist with report generation and data tracking related to claim activity.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
