Responsibilities

• Set up new claims for all lines of business from various sources and handle all incoming calls and mail for the claims department from agents, policyholders, claimants, and providers.
• Enter new losses into the claims system accurately and in accordance with claim guidelines.
• Electronically index documents to claim files.
• Answer phones for claims call center to set up new losses, route to appropriate claims adjuster, and handle medical bills for payment.
• Provide claims processing support to department including bill payment, state forms, and correspondence.
