Job summary

Amerisure, a leading property and casualty insurer, is seeking a Claims Associate to support adjusters through all phases of the claim lifecycle. The role focuses on timely processing, data collection, and clear communication with policyholders, claimants, and vendors.

The successful candidate will have an Associate's degree and at least one year in insurance or claims, plus strong attention to detail and proficiency with MS Office and claims software.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in insurance or claims.
• Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing as required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to input data with a high accuracy rating.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from policyholders, claimants, injured workers, and other stakeholders regarding claim status and related questions.
• Obtain and verify information to support accurate claim processing.
• Assist with claim documentation and submit state filings and administrative requests.
• Draft and distribute correspondence in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate claim records by entering data into the claims management system.
