MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company seeks a Cargo Claims Analyst to manage marine cargo claims across designated US ports. You will oversee the full claims lifecycle from receipt to resolution, conduct in-depth investigations, and liaise with customers and vendors to ensure timely, compliant outcomes.
You will work closely with the Legal Division and Claims Department, maintaining precise records and meeting deadlines while traveling to our designated office for on-site work five days a week.

The Cargo Claims Analyst role is part of the Claims Department within the Legal Division and is responsible for processing marine cargo claims. The position manages a portfolio of cargo claims for assigned U.S. ports, overseeing the full claims lifecycle from receipt through resolution. This includes conducting detailed investigations, evaluating liability and damages, and ensuring timely and compliant claim handling.
The role operates with a high degree of independence while requiring close collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors in the United States and abroad, to support accurate, efficient, and legally compliant claims resolution.
This role requires working on‑site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off‑site duties are being performed.
