Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is seeking an Accounts Receivables Representative to facilitate the collection of delinquent accounts, contacting customers and pursuing payment of overdue fees. The role requires on-site presence five days a week, with no remote option.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), strong English, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder.
• Follows established guidelines to review and update account status.
• Maintains log of payment promises and pertinent account details, schedules follow-up communication with account holder.
• Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers.
• Provides timely and accurate response to customer inquiries and to our overseas agents.
• Follows corporate guidelines when addressing customer inquiries regarding shipments.
• Escalates unique or complex customer issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary.
• Generates potential solutions to customer issues.
• Provides feedback regarding current corporate practices and metrics to support process efficiencies.
• Presence required on-site 5 days per week
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This role requires working on-site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off‑site duties are being performed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
