Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Claims Advocate to join our growing team. The Claims Advocate provides insurance claims support and builds relationships with customers through a high level of service. This role helps fuel client growth through advisory services and supports continuous process improvements.

The candidate will handle claim reporting, client communications, and collaboration with carriers to resolve claims, maintaining professionalism in a hybrid environment and contributing to team goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree is a plus.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Life, Accident & Health (LAH) license preferred or willing to obtain.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic environments.

Responsibilities

• File claims with carriers, confirm setup, and provide initial information to clients.
• Educate clients on direct reporting of claims to their carrier.
• Respond to calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Attend internal meetings to address client claim concerns and plan resolutions.
• Communicate between clients and insurance carriers to facilitate claims.
• Generate claim status reports for client meetings or service teams.
• Deliver claim updates and reviews to clients as assigned.
• Contribute to creation/update of claim deliverables.
• Assist in claim resolution and review high-level reserves.
• Summarize open claims for client teams and support resource tools.
