Progressive in Arden Hills, MN is seeking a claims adjuster trainee. In this hybrid role, you’ll work in office two days and remotely three days, during a 12-month training period, learning to move a full claims load from start to finish.

Duties include determining coverage, liability, interviewing customers and witnesses, coordinating with appraisers, and negotiating with customers and other carriers to resolve claims.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Two years work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
