Job summary

Progressive is hiring a claims adjuster trainee in Minnesota. You’ll learn the claims process from start to finish, handling calls and building relationships with customers in a hybrid setup.

Training spans 12 months with in-office days chosen by leadership and flexible remote options for the rest of the time. You’ll determine coverage and liability, interview claimants and witnesses, and work with appraisers to manage repairs while negotiating with customers and carriers to settle claims.

Qualifications

• 3 years of work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Two years work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
