Job summary

Pasco Sheriff's Office in Florida seeks a civilian records dispatcher responsible for receiving and disseminating emergency and CJIS information via FCIC/NCIC, radio, phone, Axon and RMS. Handles FCIC/NCIC hot file processing, enters data, tracks writs and protection orders, and coordinates transportation as directed.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, typing speed of 35 wpm, and a valid Florida driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
• FCIC/NCIC certification preferred or must be obtained on hire.
• Valid Florida Driver License and CJIS clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and disseminate emergency and criminal justice information (CJI) via FCIC/NCIC, radio, telephone, Axon and RMS.
• Process, enter and track FCIC/NCIC Hot Files including writs of bodily attachment, missing persons and protection orders.
• Notify and coordinate transportation for arrestees as needed; monitor progression of warrants and writs.
• Maintain CJIS clearance as authorized by FDLE.
