Qualifications

• BS degree in information systems, data management, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
• Five+ years in data management, data integration, or related fields.
• Experience with CJIS security controls and data governance practices.
• Experience developing or monitoring data governance policies and data-use agreements.

Responsibilities

• Manage law enforcement and public safety data in CJIS-compliant manner.
• Develop data governance policies, SOPs, and data-sharing agreements.
• Monitor data quality and validation across systems.
• Design and optimize databases, data warehouses, and integration processes.
• Develop reports, metadata standards, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with agencies and university personnel for data exchange and GIS projects.
• Support grant-funded studies with secure data management and analytics.
• Manage user access controls, audit logs, and data retention schedules.
