Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Civil Superintendent - Earthworks/Concrete to lead field civil construction for utility-scale power generation projects, including CCGT facilities. You will oversee civil craft personnel and subcontractors to ensure safety, on-schedule, and within-budget delivery per quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in civil construction, preferably in power or heavy industrial projects.
• 5+ years in supervisory roles overseeing craftspeople and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, grading plans, and schedules.
• Knowledge of earthwork, foundations, drainage, and site development.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work project-based schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil construction activities across project areas and ensure safety.
• Supervise craft personnel, foremen, operators, labor crews, and subs.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and schedules to meet milestones.
• Review drawings and plans to ensure proper execution and quality.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Interface with structural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning teams.
• Manage subcontractor performance and adhere to project requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain construction documentation.
• Resolve field issues to minimize impact on safety and schedule.
• Assist in planning, sequencing, and turnover activities.
