Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead field electrical construction on utility-scale projects, including CCGT facilities. You will supervise craft personnel, ensure OSHA compliance, and coordinate manpower, equipment, and schedules to meet milestones.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 10+ years in electrical construction, 5+ years supervisory experience, and willingness to travel; OSHA 30 preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in industrial, power generation, or heavy construction environments.
• CCGT, simple cycle, or utility-scale power generation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction sequencing, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical construction activities within assigned project areas.
• Supervise electrical craft personnel, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and project requirements.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and work schedules to meet project milestones.
• Oversee installation of switchgear, transformers, MCCs, cable tray, raceway systems, grounding, and power/control cabling.
• Review drawings, specifications, and work plans to ensure proper execution.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, quality, and commissioning teams.
• Support system turnover, energization, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain construction documentation.
