Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking a Civil/Structural Forensic Engineer in Annapolis, MD. This hands-on role combines problem solving, damage analysis, and independent technical work as you build expertise in forensic engineering.

You’ll start with training and mentoring, work closely with experienced engineers, and gradually own cases, traveling regularly for field inspections within a 3-hour drive of Annapolis while delivering clear, evidence-based reports to clients.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of civil or structural engineering experience.
• EIT/FE progress with PE goal.
• Strong fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Excellent writing and report-writing abilities.
• Comfortable with field inspections and travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties to evaluate structural damage.
• Determine origin and cause of damage.
• Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.
• Travel regularly for field inspections near Annapolis.
• Manage cases from assignment to final report.
• Communicate findings to clients and teams.
• Defend conclusions when challenged.
• Develop forensic expertise through training.
