Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering or related field.
• EIT/FE or progress toward PE; PE licensure will be required.
• 3–5+ years of civil or structural engineering experience.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Willing to travel for field inspections.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and commercial properties to evaluate structural damage and building conditions
• Investigate origin and cause of damage or structural failures
• Evaluate roofing, framing, siding, windows, building envelopes, and other structural components
• Determine appropriate repair scope, constructability considerations, and potential code upgrades
• Perform engineering analysis and document findings through detailed technical reports
• Manage assigned cases from initial inspection through final report
• Provide objective engineering conclusions and confidently explain/defend your findings
• Travel throughout the region for field inspections
