Salary: Up to $130K Base

We’re hiring a Civil/Structural Engineer to join a small, highly technical engineering firm specializing in structural investigations, property damage, and forensic engineering. Prior forensic experience is NOT required, this is a great opportunity for a strong structural engineer who enjoys figuring out why something failed rather than spending every day behind a desk designing it.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect residential and commercial properties to evaluate structural damage and building conditions

• Evaluate roofing, framing, siding, windows, building envelopes, and other structural components
• Determine appropriate repair scope, constructability considerations, and potential code upgrades

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years of Civil or Structural Engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• EIT/FE or progress toward PE; PE licensure will ultimately be required
• Strong structural fundamentals and analytical/problem-solving skills
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and spending time in the field
• Construction, residential, roofing, building-envelope, inspection, or failure-analysis experience is a plus
• No forensic engineering background required, training will be provided
