Job summary

CED Technologies, Inc. is seeking a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in Annapolis, MD, to perform comprehensive forensic investigations, including vehicle accidents and losses.

The role involves occasional travel by day or overnight, applying engineering principles to support litigation and client outcomes. The candidate should have a PE license, 3–5 years in mechanical engineering, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. and/or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E) license.
• Advanced degrees (MS/PhD) are a plus.
• Willing to travel on a day or overnight basis to conduct investigations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to complete detailed work efficiently.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines for clients.

Responsibilities

• Investigate forensic cases including vehicle accidents.
• Conduct investigations with travel to sites (day or overnight).
• Apply engineering principles to resolve losses and support litigation needs.
• Work independently and outdoors as needed.
