Job summary

Qualus is hiring a Civil Structural Engineering Manager to lead and grow a dedicated engineering team, guiding technical strategy and ensuring high-quality execution across multiple sites. You will supervise engineers, coordinate resources, and interact with clients to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions.

This role involves collaboration with the Engineering Director, oversight of design processes, and active involvement in forecasting engineering requirements and staffing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET accredited preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in management within the energy sector.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering supervision and leadership to meet project demands.
• Oversee engineers across multiple offices and align with Engineering Director.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior-level engineering and client stakeholders.
• Coordinate work with distributed engineering offices to share resources.
• Support Business Development to maintain a healthy project backlog.
• Present technical solutions to customers and address concerns in real time.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Master’s Degree in Engineering Management or MBA (plus)
