Job summary

Qualus Corporation in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Civil Structural Engineering Manager to lead and develop an engineering team while shaping technical strategy. The role combines people leadership with hands-on design oversight across projects, balancing staffing with backlog needs.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with clients and internal leaders, review designs for cost, quality and schedule, and drive QA/QC processes. A PE license and energy-sector experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in management within the energy sector.
• Experience in transmission, distribution and generating stations is a plus.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering supervision and leadership to meet project demands.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior engineers and executives.
• Coordinate with multiple offices and cross-train staff for efficiency and scale.
• Present technical solutions to customers and respond to technical concerns.
• Oversee QA/QC and audits to ensure design packages meet standards.
• Lead kickoff meetings discussing scope, budgets, schedules and safety.
