Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering Associate III to join our Houston team. The role involves performing civil/structural engineering assignments for designing equipment, components, structures or systems under general supervision.

Applicants should have a Civil/Structural Engineering degree (ABET-accredited preferred) and ideally an EIT certification, plus field experience and about 6 years of relevant work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• ABET-accredited institution preferred.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Field experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of steel and concrete structures and design codes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications, drawings and calculations for project assignments.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Adhere to HSSE standards and project budgets/schedules.
• Visit job-sites and vendor facilities to assess requirements.
