Job summary

Audubon in Metairie, LA seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer IV to join our team. You will perform intermediate to advanced civil/structural engineering tasks for equipment, components, structures or systems, including calculations, sketches, and vendor drawings.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and vendors, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with HSSE standards. A PE license and offshore experience are preferred, with strong teamwork and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• ABET Accredited Institution preferred.
• Offshore experience preferred.
• 8+ years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare intermediate to advanced level specifications detailing client performance requirements, design codes and vendor drawing requirements.
• Prepare sketches, calculations and models for moderately complex projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Manage workload, budgets and project resources; ensure on-time delivery.
• Adhere to HSSE standards and design procedures.
• Lead small scope projects and coordinate day-to-day workflow.
• Provide guidance on best practices and act as subject matter expert.
