Hargrove & Associates Inc. in Decatur, AL is seeking a Civil Engineer III/IV to lead and execute complete civil/structural design tasks on projects of varying scope. You will perform conceptual layouts, design calculations, and drafting coordination under supervision, ensuring code compliance and constructability.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of relevant industrial experience, and a PE is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineer registration is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Knowledge of IBC and ASCE/AISC/ACI standards.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Microstation) and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complete civil/structural designs for small and large projects under supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to select efficient design approaches.
• Produce preliminary designs, material take-offs, and detailing for construction.
• Check calculations for accuracy and conformance to codes and criteria.
• Coordinate with drafting and other disciplines to ensure timely project delivery.
