You will develop stormwater and roadway plans, interpret topography, and drive designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, EI certification, and 5+ years of relevant experience, with a PE license on track or preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• EI certification required; PE license preferred or on track.
• 5+ years of experience in civil site design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with North Carolina permitting processes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead site analysis, grading, and utility layout for civil land development projects.
• Develop plans for stormwater management, erosion control, and roadway infrastructure.
• Interpret topographic data and perform site due diligence.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create accurate site layouts and infrastructure designs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and timely approvals.
• Prepare and submit plans, calculations, and supporting documents to local and state agencies.
