Job summary

Ohio State University in Columbus seeks a Civil Rights Intake Coordinator to manage centralized intake for complaints of protected-class harassment and discrimination involving faculty, staff, and students across campus and regional campuses.

You will provide intake, referrals, and information about options for investigations and reporting crimes, while documenting actions in accordance with federal and state laws and university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Two (2) years of relevant work experience in civil rights compliance, student conduct, human resources, social services, or similar field.
• Knowledge of Title IX, Clery Act, Title VI, Title VII, Section 504, ADA, and related civil rights laws; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake and initial response to reports of protected-class harassment and discrimination.
• Coordinate outreach, referrals, and communication to campuses and community resources.
• Document intake and response in compliance with laws and university policies; track measures provided.
• Coordinate with campus partners to promote compliance education and access accommodations.
