Job summary

The role coordinates with the Clery Act program, serves as a liaison to senior leaders and law enforcement, and guides university policy development and timely compliance across campus operations.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Ohio bar eligibility within one year or less.
• Minimum eight (8) years of legal practice with public safety or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and strategic support to the Department of Public Safety and the Student Conduct Office.
• Advise on civil rights, criminal and public safety matters, and crisis incident response.
• Serve as liaison for Clery Act compliance and policy development across university units.
