Job summary

Thomas & Hutton in Greenville, SC is seeking a seasoned civil engineer to lead multi-phase site development for mission-critical clients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging directly with clients to deliver innovative, technically sound solutions.

You will design and oversee construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and mentor junior staff while advancing your professional licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• PE license strongly preferred
• 6+ years of civil engineering design experience
• Experience producing site design plans for large-scale, multi-phase projects

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale, multi-phase civil site development projects for mission critical clients
• Prepare and oversee development of construction drawings for site grading, water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure
• Lead project teams to deliver design solutions meeting scope, schedule, and quality objectives
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical guidance and project updates
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design development and project execution
• Monitor project performance including scope, schedule, and budget
• Support proposal development and contribute to project planning efforts
