Bowman in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead development projects from scope through execution. You will manage schedules, budgets, and client communications while coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and internal groups to deliver quality infrastructure on time.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, PE preferred, with 8+ years of civil experience including 3+ years in project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Registered Professional Engineer strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience including 3+ years in assistant project management.
• Land development experience including residential and commercial developments.
• Thorough understanding of municipal codes and regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related hydrology/hydraulic tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Experience with storm drain modeling, open channel & detention basin design, and CLOMR/LOMR applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform project development for complex projects including scope finalization, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Manage day-to-day project progress to meet time and budget milestones.
• Prepare designs, specifications, plans, and reports.
• Review cost sheets and monthly billings; ensure projects stay within budget.
• Monitor work-in-process, billings, and receivable collections.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with teams and clients.
• Support marketing efforts and seek repeat business from clients.
• Supervise project personnel to meet high professional standards.
