Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to oversee complex projects in Virginia (Fairfax, Leesburg, Fredericksburg, Richmond, Williamsburg). You will apply administrative, technical, and managerial techniques to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include leading teams, coordinating with internal departments, developing designs and budgets, reviewing cost sheets and billings, and maintaining strong client relationships to drive repeat business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil engineering, land surveying, planning, or related discipline.
• Seven or more years of experience within the A/E industry including project management.
• Registered professional in field of expertise; strong understanding of business and financial principles.
• Proven track record of innovation, leadership and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for project objectives and execution.
• Assist with marketing to establish new clients and strengthen relationships.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet project requirements.
• Develop project scope, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Prepare designs, plans, estimates, and reports for projects.
• Review cost sheets, monitor billings, and ensure budget alignment.
• Maintain client relationships and drive project delivery.
• Liaise with clients, agencies, subcontractors and design teams.
