Job summary

Conrad Consulting is seeking a Civil Project Manager with a PE license to lead land development projects in Austin, TX. You will supervise design, permitting, and construction coordination, mentor junior staff, and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, and cross-disciplinary teams; coordinating with municipalities and reviewing agencies; and delivering high-quality civil design using Civil 3D. In-office, full-time role with strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• P.E. license preferred (or ability to obtain in Texas).
• 5+ years of experience in land development design.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading projects or teams.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and familiarity with project management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from concept to construction coordination.
• Prepare proposals, scopes, and budgets for new and ongoing work.
• Oversee design and production of civil construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Direct and coordinate internal design teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Design grading, drainage, water and sewer systems per local standards.
• Collaborate with municipalities, contractors, and consultants throughout the project process.
• Mentor and train team members and manage tasks via project management tools.
• Maintain and expand client relationships through clear communication and reliable service.
• Conduct quality control reviews and ensure compliance before submission to agencies.
• Manage multiple active projects totaling approximately $750K–$1M invoiced annually.
• Track progress, budgets, and deadlines to deliver on time and within scope.
