Job summary

Kier + Wright is seeking a Project Manager (Land Development) in Austin, TX to lead multi-disciplinary teams on civil engineering projects. You will manage client relationships, project scope, schedule, budget, and QA/QC while coordinating with agencies and internal staff.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background, PE license or equivalent experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software. Travel to sites and meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of land development experience with PE or 8+ years without PE.
• Certifications such as QSP/QSD, PMP are a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam required; other software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
• Manage client and stakeholder communications and alignment across disciplines.
• Prepare civil plans and exhibits from concept through construction documents.
• Support permitting, entitlements, and regulatory compliance.
