Job summary

gpac is seeking a licensed Civil Project Manager (PE) in Boston to lead a diverse portfolio of land development and public infrastructure projects from concept through construction.

You will manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and client relationships while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • PE license required.
  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
  • Strong background in land development, site design, municipal engineering, or public infrastructure.
  • Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage civil engineering projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction support.
  • Lead the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, and calculations.
  • Design and oversee land development projects involving site grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and site improvements.
  • Manage public infrastructure projects including roadway improvements, water distribution, wastewater collection, and municipal utility systems.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, municipalities, and multidisciplinary project teams throughout project delivery.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and fee proposals.
  • Monitor project performance, maintain quality standards, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff while supporting their professional development.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

We're partnering with a respected engineering consulting firm seeking a Civil Project Manager (PE) to lead a diverse portfolio of land development and public infrastructure projects. What You'll Do
  • Manage civil engineering projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction support.

Preferred Experience
  • Project management and team leadership experience.
  • Business development or client relationship management.
  • Experience working on commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, or municipal projects.
